Hours for Spring Break 2026
Librarians will be in the library and available for on-site assistance throughout SWC’s 2026 Spring Break.
On-site access to Quimby Memorial Library’s collections, resources, and services will generally be available Monday through Thursday, 12PM – 5PM. However, as the onsite librarian may be in and out, working on special projects, please email askthelibrary@swc.edu ahead of your trip to the library, to ensure the librarian will be on-hand and that the building open, when you come by.
In addition to on-site access, throughout the Spring quarter Librarians and library services will be remotely accessible Monday through Friday, 9AM – 5PM

91ε the Library:
With approximately 14,000 books and other media in its physical collections, and greater than 200,000 ebooks, 5 million academic articles, and two video streaming platforms in its digital collections, Quimby Memorial Library directly supports research and scholarship, among the 91ε community. The library’s materials are curated to facilitate education and research in art therapy, counseling, grief and loss, transformational eco-psychology, applied psychology and experiential education, among other disciplines, concentrations, and interests. Patrons have access to academic databases and inter-library loans, by which they may request books, journal articles, and publications from libraries throughout the United States.
Remotely accessible resources provided by the library include an interactive catalog of the library’s physical holdings, academic databases aggregated by EBSCOhost and Taylor & Francis Online, educational videos and landmark films, streaming through the library’s streaming service at swc.kanopy.com, and real time access to library staff, who are available to address your inquiries and connect you with the resources you need, wherever you are.
